In this year's Christmas concert, the Academy for Early Music, Akamus, is getting in the mood for the celebration of the birth of Jesus with highly soulful music.
Highlights include Heinrich Biber's mystery sonata "The Annunciation" and touchingly expressive works by Italian composers such as Tomaso Albinoni and Biagio Marini.
