Conversation concert | Bernhard Schrammek, Moderation

Sara Levy (1761–1854) was a remarkable personality in Berlin's music history: As a student of Wilhelm Friedemann and patron of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, she ensured that baroque music was kept alive in her salon and passed this tradition on to her great-nephew Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The flute duo Johanna Bartz and Pablo Sosa del Rosario revive this high-quality chamber music from Sara Levy's estate.

With works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann and Wilhelm Friedemann Bach

Duration approx. 75 minutes without an intermission
