| Lisbeth - Kultur-Café auf dem Friedhof Sophien II
In the Middle Kingdom of ancient Egypt, “soul houses” made of fired clay marked the graves of common people. The exhibition in the cemetery café shows images from museum collections as well as texts and books on Egyptian sepulchral culture and the concept of the soul.

In the guard's house opposite, a sculptural and painterly dialogue takes place with the artists Hella Gerlach and Alexander Wolff.
Hella Gerlach's ceramic sculptures explore playful embodiments of the soul as essential elements of human anatomy. The elements associated with Alexander Wolff's mural demand touch, which activates movement and changes the overall picture - like essential things that can influence the transformation of form, condition and dimension.
