Sehsüchte is one of the largest international student film festivals in Europe. The 54th International Student Film Festival "Sehsüchte" will take place from 23 to 27 April 2025.

Its goal is to provide a forum for young, aspiring filmmakers to showcase their films, to encourage exchange among themselves and with top professionals in the film industry.
The Sehsüchte film festival offers many opportunities for intercultural exchange:
over a hundred films by young filmmakers, panel discussions and master classes, a diverse supporting program with professional workshops, parties and much more.
At the same time, Sehsüchte is an event for a film-loving audience.
Sehsüchte gains its unique appeal from the intimate atmosphere and the contact between audience and filmmakers.
