Film & Talk #2030 - Season 14

The world of the sixth-graders at Jose Urbina Lopez primary school in Matamoros is characterised by violence, neglect and corruption. But their new teacher, Sergio Juarez, refuses to give up and wants to show his pupils a way out of their hopeless situation. He addresses his class with great sensitivity and empathy in order to awaken their curiosity and, above all, their potential. Based on a true story.
