Queer Slam
At the 2nd open air of Queer Slam Berlin, only previous winners will meet. As always, at this best-of show, the audience has the final say and the scoreboards in their hands. A random jury and later the entire audience decide on the finalists, victory and defeat. Which text, which performance is the most exciting? That's what it's about. And the trophy in the form of a golden prosecco bottle.
Queer Slam Berlin has been taking place in the SO36 since 2019, in the SchwuZ since 2024 and now for the second time on the magnificent summer stage of the ufaFabrik. Poetry slammers from Berlin, Germany and the world come together month after month, measure their strength and show what the queer community can do. Mainly not hide.
The Queer Slam Berlin is the largest regularly held poetry slam in Berlin. Always moderated by Gaylord Christian Ritter.
