Wild and feminine – that’s how British singer-songwriter Paris Paloma describes her music. The Derbyshire-born artist began writing her own songs at the age of 14.

In spring 2023, she shared excerpts from her new song “Labour” on TikTok – the first she recorded in a recording studio.
What happened next is the dream of many artists:
The song spread internationally and went viral. Women from all over the world were drawn to the text, which is a bleak description of the physical and emotional labor of women in patriarchal societies.
Despite a hectic first festival summer, she used the short breaks to continue working on her debut album. This is called “Cacophony” and will be released at the end of August this year. Her first European tour will follow in the fall, during which she will also come to Berlin for a show.
