Visit the house and take part in the guided tour “Tohuwabohu under the dome: A tour of the synagogue from 1866 to today”. The head of the education department will guide you through the museum's permanent exhibition and the prayer room of today's synagogue community in a knowledgeable and entertaining way.

Discover the multifaceted history of the New Synagogue, from its opening in 1866 under the watchful eye of Otto von Bismarck, through the destruction in the Second World War to the reconstruction around the time of reunification.

On your journey through the past, you will meet brave police officers, prophets, pioneering rabbis and trace stories that are literally inscribed in the walls and objects of the New Synagogue.

To participate, you only need a museum entrance ticket (€7.00, €4.50 reduced), which is available at the ticket office.

You do not need to register in advance, but you are welcome to reserve a place at: info@centrumjudaicum.de

Meeting point: In the entrance area of the museum

** Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour begins, as the security check at the entrance can take some time **
