with Annalena Küspert and Maria Milisavljević

Together with the KJTZ (Children's and Youth Theater Center in the Federal Republic of Germany), drawers are opened and playwrights are invited with their texts that were created as part of "Close up! New texts for children's theater".

Each episode of the series is moderated by playwright Maria Milisavljević and together with the audience, everyone discusses an important topic of the present based on the text.

Annalena Küspert is a guest in the first edition:
The participants magically approach the dilemma of garbage production and experience the effects of consumer society with surprising characters - and the text also asks how and where children's thoughts on pressing ecological questions can actually find a space.

"Anderson's garbage trip"

by Annalena Küspert

Read by: Caroline Erdmann, Denis Pöpping, Mira Tscherne

Anderson's mother works as a garbage woman and Anderson thinks that's really cool. Every day he tells her that he wants to ride in the garbage truck too. And then the time has finally come: Anderson is allowed to get in and the totally crazy garbage adventure begins! First Sumsemann, who lives on the street, joins in, and then the garbage truck takes off, zooms through the air, higher and higher towards the east. Until it starts to rattle strangely!

An emergency landing later at the sea, the adults also start to argue. But Anderson now finally wants to understand: to understand what happens to all the garbage that his mother always collects. So he comes across Smokey Mountain, where all the garbage in the world ends up.
