“Symphony of Fate”

For 70 years, the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic has shaped musical life in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and far beyond! In the concert church, which opened in 2001, the renowned ensemble delights audiences with a wide variety of concert formats. The repertoire is not limited to classical music, but also includes film music, jazz and other musical genres.



“Symphony of Fate”


On this evening, the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic will perform three epic works.

In addition to Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67, the so-called “Symphony of Fate”, under which the evening is named, the overture to the opera “Cosí fan tutte” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Violoncello Concerto No. 1 in C major Hob. VII:1 by Joseph Haydn can be heard.
