According to an old Korean legend, once a year the high-flying crows and magpies form a bridge, the so-called OJakGyo, to enable the couple Jik-Nyeo (Wega star) and Gyeon-U (Altair star), who live separately at both ends of the Milky Way, to meet on it.

Under this motto, dancers from the EulSukdo Maru dance company from Busan, South Korea, meet their colleagues from the German-Korean ensemble MuAk on stage for the second time this year.
In March of this year, both teams showed their respective interpretations of traditional Korean dances to a Korean audience in Busan under the same motto and are now presenting an expanded version of this dance “competition” in the ufaFabrik Berlin.
An eventful evening not just for dance lovers:
traditional aesthetics meet new interpretations, which, due to the cultural differences in South Korea and Germany, result in different forms of performance and different interaction.
Korean food also ensures a great treat during the break.
