Three dance pieces with asteroids / laja field, lea ved, james vu anh pan.

laja field: mindlapse

life as short, eternity as long. the duality of life and its contradictions are the inspiration for this creation. the physicality is based on highly virtuosic, open, athletic movements, different styles and interpretations.

the interplay of diverse components, from movement, text, partnering, improvised scores, lipsynch to the individual skills of the group, are fruitful contributions to this collaborative process.

let's discover what lies between the real world and the surreal!

let's transcend into new dimensions. and travel into the unknown!

lea ved: of folk and fable

in this workshop, thoughts, tangents and games are shared and form the basis for a collaborative creative process. the collections of stories in our bones are taken as a starting point; myths, believed or imagined; body and memory, intertwined by inner and outer forces of nature. in exploration and a practice of informed play, a beginning opens, built with structure, architecture and together.

in the exploration and practice of informed play, a beginning opens up, built with structure, architecture and holding together. we dance through questions and vital presence.

what is individual and what is recreated through context; expanded to the whole or focused on a source? a blueprint for what will be emerges in creative coming together.

james vu anh pham: untitled 24

the basis of this workshop is the exploration of movement techniques and tasks aimed at strengthening the connection between instinctive and analytical dance. clear choices, rules, games and obstacles challenge the mind to embrace and create a movement vocabulary. within a flow of movement, fluid transitions are continually created as well as opportunities to generate and regenerate in order to fully utilise the natural intelligence of our individual bodies.

The workshop invites us to explore, develop and recognise the freedom and limits of the body and to enjoy all that is possible in the moment.
