At the open-air museum, you will learn about how the villagers in our region lived around the year 1200 in German sign language (DGS).

Follow the museum's offering on a path through the reconstructed settlement into the time of Berlin's creation! You will gain insights into medieval life as it can be understood from original finds on site. You will learn about the tools and techniques of the trades of yesteryear and even get to try them out yourself if you want.

After the tour, you can make yourself comfortable with the whole group and the guide around a campfire with twist bread and exchange stories about what you have seen.
