From 19 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, the iconic MegaFence will be transformed into a 90-metre-long canvas. The installation Kajika Aki: CLAIM FOR PEACE embodies the spirit of ‘art in architecture’ and creates a dialogue between art, community and urban renewal.

The MegaFence, located on the historic Köpenicker Straße, serves as a symbol of artistic expression and bridges the neighbourhood's past and future.
The surrounding area, characterised by a large construction site, reflects themes such as destruction, renewal and the transformative power of art. The initiative is part of Tresor's commitment to revitalising public spaces and supporting art as a central element of urban culture.
With the CLAIM FOR PEACE installation, the foundation is shining a spotlight on young talent like Kajika Aki and promoting cross-cultural dialogue. Kajika Aki's work, inspired by themes of urban regeneration and human transformation, will be presented on the Tresor MegaFence from 19 December 2024 to 5 January 2025.
About Kajika Aki
After graduating from the École Estienne with a degree in Métiers d'Arts et du Design (2016), Kajika began a master's degree in animation film design and production at the École des Gobelins, but left the programme in 2017 to focus on her solo project MOM. The animated short film won the Best Film Award at the Tbilisi International Animation Festival (2021) and was selected for the Annecy International Film Festival, among others.
Her large-scale works, such as The life and the death of the little mermaid and IMIEAMORI (2019/2020), are created without sketches and tell stories of intimacy, pain and personal development. These works were exhibited at La Folie Barbizon (2022).
