Gallery exhibition

People flee violence and war and are rarely welcome anywhere on their journey or after their arrival. Refugees experience exclusion and racism and are repeatedly exploited as pawns of political interests.

Journalist Franziska Grillmeier and photographer Vincent Haiges have met people on the run all over the world and documented their journeys.

The gallery exhibition brings various landscapes in which people move and persevere along the borders of the European Union into dialogue. The focus is on the daily (survival) of people on the run and their everyday life away from public perception.
