At some point a year ago, Fred Schmidman had had enough. And he had good reasons for it. He wanted to quit. He decided to turn this "quitting" into a play - half report, half bizarre tirade, half thoughtful self-reflection.

Five middle-aged people between the ages of late 40 and early 60 who don't want to or can't carry on like this. In public, they answer the questions of an off-therapist. The topic: "quitting", the answers - and the occasional silence - cast a flickering light on this group of special losers. The human weaknesses and doubts that are revealed are strangely familiar and the different failures of those who have dropped out - promoted by the live electronic music - also bring beauty and mischief to the surface.
Will the stage therapy lead to insight and successful healing? If not, that much can be said, there is always the techno party afterwards!
