When a teddy bear is over 100 years old, its eyes have seen a lot. Its arms are covered in patches from so much comforting. Bärchen is one such teddy bear.

He was there for both the good and the bad moments, for example, when the walls shook because of the bombs. Or when Irene's grandmother was deported. Bärchen has experienced it all. Until now, he listened, but now he speaks for himself: about exclusion and war, but also about friendship and hope.
