In Jörg Sader's "Es ist Zeit, lichten wir den Anker" (2024), the author appears as a secretary of the world: his texts are unplanned, they become perceptions of chance - notations of the observed, the narrated and the dreamed.
Jörg Sader has captured small, special moments and stories in his notations - scenes, gestures and bizarre moments that he has encountered. The author himself is unable to explain why he has chosen and written down these impressions in particular. Perhaps he was fascinated by something when he made these observations - or perhaps it was the knowing gaze of the collector that guided his perceptions.
The various themes that the author encounters in his texts do not seem to fit together at first glance. What does the crypt have to do with the messenger, and what does the open-cast mine have to do with the dead man who disappears? Jörg Sader's notations invite the reader to think beyond familiar paths and discover new, surprising perspectives. kul-ja! publishing's publishing director Julia Kulewatz will host the evening.
