"Visitors experience our current presentation as a cheerful cosmos full of objects of unexpected attraction. There is eroticism and grace, devotion and sensuality to discover," says Michael W. Schmalfuß.
The gallery owner has been working with the artist ROLAND STRATMANN for years and has fulfilled his wish to curate an exhibition for his big birthday:
"Embodied Vessels - Between Body and Vessel" with works by ANDREAS AMRHEIN, WILHELM FREDERKING, DIANE HAEFNER, DANIEL KRUGER and ROLAND STRATMANN.
How the idea for this group exhibition developed, why ROLAND STRATMANN chose these four artists, who created exactly that object with what intention, what the connecting element between the works is, where the artists find their inspiration and materials and why the exhibition theme "Embodied Vessels - Between Body and Vessel" inspires so many people today - the audience will learn all this and more in the artist talk.
The exhibition "Embodied Vessels - Between Body and Vessel" can be seen until July 27, 2024.
