18th Easter Knights Festival at the Spandau Citadel

The great knight festival in the Spandau Citadel invites young and old to join in, laugh, dance, feast and watch.

Simply forget everyday life, shake your winter-stiff limbs and immerse yourself in the entertaining side of the Middle Ages! Historical music resounds and jugglers perform unbelievable tricks.

From 19 to 21 April 2025, from 10 am to 7 pm, market traders, knights, jugglers, acrobats and minstrels await the people for market activities and entertainment.

With a cup of mead or barley juice and hearty or sweet treats for the palate, life is good. After the refreshment, you can test your skills and marksmanship with crossbow and archery. Young people can enjoy themselves on the hand-operated merry-go-rounds and Ferris wheel and try their luck at mouse roulette. Knight tournaments on horseback and real knight fights man against man inspire young and old. The audience cheers for the favorite with cheers and vigorous hand claps!

All kinds of craftsmen and traders offer their goods for sale. And when the audience has had its fill at the large market, the numerous taverns and the stages, all the exhibitions of the Spandau Citadel (except the Bat Cellar) can be visited during their opening hours, without any additional fee! For the grand finale spectacle there is a mystical fiery equestrian show with music, show and acrobatics!

Immerse yourself in the world of the Middle Ages - at Easter at Spandau Citadel!
