A tour of the film and fashion icon Marlene Dietrich

The Deutsche Kinemathek is packing up and moving to a new location. The permanent exhibition will close its doors at the end of October 2024. The curators are taking this as an opportunity to once again focus on the exhibition and share their view of selected exhibits and stories with the public.

As part of "Curators choice", they visit their personal selection of favorite objects, tell object stories and share special museum experiences.

A guided tour with media curator Nils Warnecke on the film and fashion icon Marlene Dietrich and her extensive estate, which is kept at the Kinemathek. The collections and the permanent exhibition include props, film and show costumes, everyday objects and impressive documents of contemporary history. They provide a well-founded insight into Dietrich's life, but also the history of the collection.
