Concrete and grounded like a stone, fleeting and changeable like a cloud – the music of Cloud and Stone brings textures into contact and transitions between states of matter. In their compositions, Taiko Saito, Alexander Beierbach, and Maike Hilbig create ever-new soundscapes that are both tangible and evocative.

Cloud and Stone
This Berlin trio performs with chamber-music intensity and a great sense of improvisational freedom. In 2023, they gave their debut concert and shortly after recorded demo tracks. The three have known each other for a long time through various musical collaborations and now form a neighborhood band: they live just a stone’s throw away from each other with their families.
