Climate protection and environmental education meets art

The climate circus combines climate protection and environmental education with art. Around a circus wagon, there are interactive activities for children and young people that integrate elements of circus and art education.

A varied program awaits the public and new hands-on stations and an exciting climate rally are waiting to be discovered. The new mobile swap box will be inaugurated and the raised beds will be planted together. There will also be interesting, physical and creative activities on the subject of climate protection - all accompanied by delicious snacks and drinks.

Our offers:

Climate rally
Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 6 pm
You can take a closer look at the climate at ten rally stations around the circus wagon: how does the greenhouse effect work, where do greenhouse gases come from and how can the climate be brought back into balance? You experiment, solve puzzles and find out the number codes that will help you get ahead! At the end, you can take the rally plan home with you as a self-designed poster.

Climate circus action days
Friday
Climate games Explore exciting climate issues with fun and games. Game leaders will introduce you to group and board games on climate and sustainability, which you can then try out. Maybe you'll even invent your own climate game (please note: if it's raining or stormy, the games will be canceled).

Circus crash course in cooperation with CABUWAZI Circus
We do gymnastics and contort ourselves for the climate! In funny individual and group challenges, with hula hoops, pois or acrobatic figures, you can invent your own climate circus artistry. Or you can get your message out into the world as a climate clown.

DIY circus workshop Make your own sustainable circus act
Circus props are artistically made from old things - such as throwing balls, climate circus pennants with a print motif or solar wizards. Bring old socks - even broken ones - and printable T-shirts, bags or similar items!

Weather note: In the event of persistent rain or storms, the hands-on activities will be canceled.
