Together instead of lonely

Young and old, single parents or business travellers, everyone who feels lonely or wants to celebrate Christmas in a different way is welcome at the Christmas Eve Gala.

Nobody should sit at home alone on Christmas Eve and feel lonely if they don't want to. That's what Birgitta and Werner Nachtigal thought in 1992, and they and their team have been organising the Christmas Eve Gala ever since. Now the gala is being continued by Kathrin and Kai Nachtigal in the second generation.

People who feel alone, are stressed by family traditions or simply want to celebrate in a different way are invited to this festive gala. Guests can be old or young, in Berlin on business or single parents. Whoever wants to experience Christmas in a different way and not be alone is welcome. You are guaranteed to meet new people at this party. For singles, it's a wonderful opportunity to find new happiness and start the new year on the right foot.

A festive but relaxed celebration

Lovingly laid tables and the delicious Christmas buffet with poultry, red cabbage and other delicacies as well as a great evening programme with live music create a festive mood and yet relaxed atmosphere. Thanks to many sponsors, the event including food is free of charge. Drinks can be paid for in cash or by EC card. Around 250 to 300 people are expected to attend the Christmas Eve gala at Ballhaus Pankow. 70 volunteers will ensure a festive evening.
