This year, for the 20th time, Berlin's Tempodrom will be transformed into a festively decorated venue for one of the country's most successful circus series, celebrating a unique anniversary and an extraordinary success story with friends, artists and visitors.
Comedian and Roncalli aficionado Oliver Polak returns to the ring and guides the audience through the evening. And founder's daughter and Let's Dance winner Lili Paul-Roncalli will also be there as a special guest!

For two decades, founder and circus director Bernhard Paul has been inviting all generations from near and far to marvel, laugh and dream in the wide round of Berlin's Tempodrom and presenting the audience with breathtaking artistry and charming clowning on a global scale.
For many visitors, the Christmas Circus has long been a beloved tradition and an indispensable part of the calendar before the year draws to a close.
Countless families are enchanted again and again by the unique Roncalli atmosphere: for two decades, the unmistakable mixture of great poetry, extraordinary artistic performances and irresistible humor, framed by the phenomenal soundtrack of popular Christmas classics, has been a success.
Since 2004, award-winning artists from all over the world have been creating magical and unforgettable moments in the circus ring with spectacular body control and daring acts, as well as touching aesthetics and unflinching humor.
In well over 600 performances, Roncalli has developed its famous trademarks: the humorous interludes and loving transitions, the details of which form a program that has always been more than just a sequence of artistic acts.
Since then, more than a million visitors have shared the excitement of the performers in the circus ring, had sweaty hands when the artists reached dizzying heights, open mouths when they performed incredible acrobatic feats or tears in their eyes - sometimes with laughter, sometimes with emotion. They were all transported into a fascinating world by the Christmas Circus.
Roncalli is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Christmas Circus in Berlin with a grand premiere evening, 31 performances and a selection of the best clowns and artists in the world.
These include well-known audience favorites and a few surprises that will be announced in the coming weeks. We can already reveal that comedian, bestselling author and self-confessed Roncalli fan Oliver Polak will be among the well-wishers and will personally host the evenings.
In addition, founder's daughter and Let's Dance winner Lili Paul-Roncalli will be there as a special guest and will return to her second home, the circus ring, with her exquisite contortion act for this special occasion.
