Berlin Artists Art Market (BAAM) #12

Hundreds of works hang here side by side from floor to ceiling, and with paintings, prints, photography and much more on display, there is something to discover around every corner.

The listed former cold store, dating from the Gründerzeit era and situated at Gleisdreieck in Kreuzberg (Luckenwalder Straße 3, 10963 Berlin), offers an extraordinary setting across several floors for a weekend full of art and encounters. The market is open on Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.

The unique concept behind BAAM:

Here, art isn’t admired from behind glass – it’s taken home. If you love a piece, you simply take it off the wall and pay at the till – no gallery appointment or registration required. Prices range from €50 to €10,000. Most of the artists are present throughout the opening hours, guiding visitors through their work and answering questions. This means visitors buy directly from the people who created the works.

The BAAM is more of a festival than a fair

Live painting, performances, DJ sets and guided tours with the artists turn the art market into three vibrant days for everyone who wants not just to look at art, but to experience it.

And best of all: BAAM#12 marks the launch of “The Artists Art Market”, BAAM’s new online platform. It is available all year round and showcases the artists from the Berlin edition as well as around 200 further artists who are represented online only.
