A contemporary witness tells

Bear, called "Bärchen", is a teddy bear and is over 100 years old. His eyes have seen a lot.

He has been there at some very nice moments, but also at some very bad ones, for example when the walls were shaking because of the bombs. Or when Irene's grandmother was deported. Until now, Bär has preferred to avoid these memories. Now he enters long-closed rooms with us, in which important stages of his biography are brought back to life with shadow play and sound.
A documentary theater about the life of a Jewish child during the Nazi dictatorship, told from the perspective of a teddy bear.

Based on the biography by Irene Grumach-Shirun, written by Jill Levenfeld
