‘Just as light casts ever-changing, fascinating shadows through glass, so too does life cast its many facets onto our paths.’ Yan Jun White, born in Shenyang, China, incorporates her personal journey into her art.
Since childhood, she has been fascinated by the opportunity to explore light and shadow – especially the interplay of light in glass, which often creates complex reflections and fascinating distortions in its form and clarity. For her, glass is a symbol of the fragility of life, which is reflected in her work.
