As part of its 10th anniversary, the social enterprise Acker is organising the big #AckerFestival2024 at the Malzfabrik in Berlin on 29 and 30 August. Under the motto ‘Change is growing here’, everything will revolve around sustainable education, nutrition and society for two days.

The AckerKonferenz on 29 August will bring together stakeholders from science, business and politics to jointly promote systemic change.
At the colourful open-air AckerFest on 30 August, all age groups can then explore the potential of a society that values nature and food.
A diverse programme with exciting impulses, workshops, music and numerous hands-on activities invites you to get your hands dirty together: for a sustainable world!
Among those taking part will be Federal Minister for Family Affairs Lisa Paus, KIKA presenter Tobi Krell and Eckart von Hirschhausen.
For 10 years, Acker has been promoting a society that values nature and food. With educational programmes for nurseries, kindergartens and schools and offers for companies, neighbourhoods and care facilities, Acker makes it possible to experience how much work and how much joy there is in fresh vegetables.
As part of the AckerFestival, the social enterprise is now focussing on important questions for the future to mark its anniversary.
How can urban and rural areas be made liveable? What does a sustainable education system need? And how can we provide ourselves with affordable food without jeopardising natural resources?
In addition to a keynote speech by neuroscientist and bestselling author Maren Urner, the AckerKonferenz on 29 August will feature exciting keynote speeches and deep dives, for example by chef and cookbook author for vegan nutrition Sophia Hoffmann and ex-professional footballer Arne Friedrich.
At the AckerFestival on 30 August, guests can expect a colourful stage programme as well as numerous workshops and hands-on activities to inspire children and adults to find new paths to a future worth living.
