Public guided tour through the exhibition (in German)

100 years after Franz Kafka's death, the exhibition Access Kafka juxtaposes manuscripts, drawings and letters from Franz Kafka's estate with works of contemporary art.

The exhibition creates a dialog between Kafka's work and contemporary artworks by Yael Bartana, Maria Eichhorn, Anne Imhof, Martin Kippenberger, Maria Lassnig, Trevor Paglen, Hito Steyerl and other artists.

Using selected works, the tour follows the central question of this encounter across epochs and artistic disciplines, which touches on the core of our social self-image: Is access granted to someone - or denied?
