What role do National Socialism, the culture of remembrance, and the fight against misanthropy play in youth, pop, and subcultures?
Experts from hip-hop, punk, football fan culture, and techno will engage with the audience in a dialogue about forms of engagement within these scenes—be it in discourse, music, artistic expression, styles, codes, or language.
Accompanying the panel, the exhibition "The Second View" can be viewed in the archive's rooms. It critically examines both discriminatory and emancipatory tendencies in youth cultures.
The focus will be on topics such as right-wing extremism, racism, anti-Semitism, anti-Gypsyism, anti-Muslim racism, Islamism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and hate speech.
