It's never happened here before! Dirndls, lederhosen, veal sausage, pretzels, beer and a good mood - from 6 to 22 September 2024, the ‘1st Oktoberfest on Potsdamer Platz’ will take place in Berlin-Mitte with a large Paulaner beer garden.

For almost three weeks, the Bavarian flair can be enjoyed and celebrated here every day from 11 a.m. with original Oktoberfest beer.
‘This premiere was long overdue, because what better place in the capital for an Oktoberfest than Potsdamer Platz,’ says organiser Jens Schmidt. ‘We will provide a typical blue and white ambience so that all Oktoberfest fans can feel at home here in the centre of Berlin and have a great time.’
A wide range of gastronomic offerings with freshly tapped festival beer in mugs and typical Oktoberfest snacks with Bavarian specialities will ensure perfect fun and round off your visit to the festival.
Of course, there will also be fresh and traditional Oktoberfest music and Wies'n hits to dance and sway along to on the legendary square. A stage programme provides the right atmosphere and the best entertainment. Individual traders also offer handmade, practical and beautiful items as well as typical Berlin products.
Even though other Oktoberfests in the capital have a ‘traditional costume requirement’, everyone is welcome at the ‘1st Oktoberfest on Potsdamer Platz’. Guests are welcome to come in dirndls and lederhosen, but there is no obligation.
