The family of Soghomon Vardanyan, a young soldier who perished in the 2020 war in Artsakh and identified by a statistical number as missing in action, is waiting for his return. Soghomon’s sister decides to document this emotionally- wrenching process on her phone.


The resulting video diary becomes a confrontationally explicit meditation on inconsolable grief. Screening with Lumen Naturae, the story of a couple who decide to sire a new child in honor of the son they lost in the 2020 war.
