In Berlin, you can not only go out to eat delicious food, you can also eat out in style. Every month we look for the best, tastiest, and most exceptional Foodspots for you.

1. Hugos Restaurant

Hugos is located in the Intercontinental Hotel in Berlin Tiergarten and has consistently been awarded a Michelin star since 1999. The gourmet cuisine ranges from scallops to saddle of Limousin lamb and sole. The unique view over the rooftops of the German capital has been combined with an elegant interior design which you can enjoy while drinking a glass of excellent wine. What more could you want?

2. Hafenküche Berlin

The Hafenküche on the Rummelsburg bay has real maritime charm. The doors open at 10:00 for a balanced breakfast with fresh bread rolls. At noon, one-course meals that change every day, are offered at a very reasonable price and in the evening there is black pudding, fish & chips, half a roast chicken and much more!

3. Funkturm Restaurant

The Funkturm Restaurant on the grounds of the Messe Berlin offers another stunning view over the rooftops of Berlin. From Tuesday to Sunday, you can enjoy classic German culinary delights at a height of 55 meters. The viewing deck with a height of 126 meters is open every day independently of the restaurant.

4. Die dicke Linda

Whether you are looking for freshly picked lettuces, home-made bread, gluten-free Italian cake or organic wines, at Die dicke Linda there is something to satisfy everyone's taste! This weekly market is held on the Kranoldplatz every Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00, with an open invitation for you to come browsing and tasting.

5. Keyser Soze

Our last foodspot of May is the Keyser Soze, which welcomes its guests since 1998. The restaurant is located at Tucholskystraße in Mitte and opens from 7:30 to 3:00 at night, offering a very good breakfast, daily changing dishes for lunch and German classics for dinner. Psst: Here is a real insider: Every last Sunday of the month there is live music and food from a different country.
