Farmer market on the Kranoldplatz
Every Saturday there is a vibrant hustle and bustle on the Kranoldplatz in Berlin-Neukölln from 10 am to 4 pm. Because through the whole year about 20 farmers and small manufacturers from Brandenburg and the Berlin neighbourhood set up their tents in order to expose their local and fresh products for sale.
The offer ranges from fruit and vegetables, via flours and marmalade, right through to cheese, meat and fish. And when the weekly grocery is done there might be still some time left for a cosy chat with fair organic coffee, cake and snacks.
Weekly market with music
Just as it was in the Middle Ages, so it is today: people stroll between the market stalls in groups or alone, buying fresh produce for the weekend, looking and lingering, laughing and enjoying.
In summer, market day is always a special experience: on every second Saturday of the month, music is played at the market! Concerts take place from 13 May to 9 September 2023 and Kranoldplatz also offers stalls with design, art and handicrafts.
