Badehaus Szimpla (Szimpla Bathhouse)

The jazz parties in the former workers’ bathhouse of the old Reichsbahn Repair Works (RAW) are characterised by world music – the owners of this place set no limits to the musical contents. Whether balkan, swing, folk or jazz music – all sorts of music are possible here, the only requirement is that is has to be sophisticated. The Badehaus Szimpla is the Berlin counterpart to the café of the same name in Budapest, which has a stern reputation in the jazz scene.
