Christmas market on December 9, 2023 in Berlin Köpenick
This year, for the second time, the small Christmas market on Essenplatz will enchant neighbors and other interested visitors with a fairytale Christmas magic with 25 stands. Come along and get into the Christmas spirit with craftsmanship, culinary delights and culture.
On the second weekend of Advent, all Christmas lovers can enjoy a great day at the Wolf&Else Christmas market.
25 stalls offer culinary delights, arts and crafts and culture - despite its rather small size, the Wolf&Else Christmas market offers a large selection of potential Christmas gifts and lots of fun for young and old. The stage programme is a colourful mix - from drama to choir, French horn and guitar music. All the stalls are run by craftspeople from the neighbourhood and surrounding area.
If you've already seen everything at the Christmas market, you can take a look around the Märchenviertel, an idyllic settlement from the 1920s. The streets are named after well-known fairy tale characters such as Snow White, Mother Hulda and Stargazer. The enchanting market is organized by dedicated residents who want to promote civic engagement, bring residents together and support local artists with the "Wolf&Else" association. Experience an authentic piece of Berlin neighborhood culture. Other sights such as Schloss Köpenick are also not far away, where the Weihnachtsinsel is another market with festive stalls and Christmas treats.
The Wolf&Else Christmas market in the Märchenviertel is only a 15-minute walk from Köpenick S-Bahn station. We recommend using public transport to get there. You can reach Köpenick S-Bahn station by S-Bahn, bus and streetcar.
