For a relaxed journey to and from Berlin
Berlin’s main rail stations are located roughly parallel to the River Spree running through its core. These are Hauptbahnhof, Friedrichstrasse and Alexanderplatz. In all major stations, you will find food courts, shops and information desks. You’ll be able to tell on maps in the station which zone to buy your ticket for. S-Bahn tickets are also valid on U-Bahn and bus services. The stations are generously dotted around the main neighbourhoods in Berlin and are easily identifiable by the 'S' and 'U' signs outside. The U-Bahn in particular is a simple and fast way of getting from A to B within the city proper.
