Stangenwald Playground

Space for Children in the Heart of Berlin

The Park am Gleisdreieck is located near Potsdamer Platz on the border between the districts of Schöneberg, Tiergarten and Kreuzberg. The former brownfield site along the tracks Anhalter Bahnhof and Potsdamer Platz has now been turned into a varied green space offering a rich of lawns, tree cover, bike trails and children's play facilities.

Fun and Games at Gleisdreieck

September 2011 saw the opening of the Stangenwald playground in the Park am Gleisdreieck. Here, children can test their skills on nets, ropes, bridges and footbridges or play on the slide tower. Swings and hammocks are also a fun way to spend some time. In addition, young and old can try their skill on the balance beams and platforms. Right next to the playground, there are three ping-pong (table tennis) tables available, where the adults might try to smash one over their opponents while the little ones play in the Stangenwald.
