Dive into Spandau’s history
The Spandau Historical Museum is located in the Zeughaus of the Citadel. Here, visitors are being informed about the natural environment and settlement, development, rule and local government, trade and industry, military production and industrialisation as well as the cultural life of Spandau. In addition to the permanent exhibition on the ground floor, the annually changing exhibitions on the city’s development are also worth while, as is the Spandau Citadel itself, of course, being one of the most important and best-preserved Renaissance fortresses in Europe.
