Culinary delights in Italian
The ambience alone promises a stylish evening. Whether outside or in the cosy interior rooms: white tablecloths, flowers, lush fruit baskets and lights on every table. And the service team here is unbeatable.
Ristorante Mario has been a real tradition in Berlin's green Friedenau neighbourhood for many years. Here, listed, stuccoed villas from the Wilhelminian era line up, and there is history and culture to discover. Mario has a lot of loyal regulars as well as visitors and fans of one of Berlin's most popular districts.
Delicious as a starter: The Pulpo-Sepia salad, but also the warm Burrata from Apulia. And afterwards beetroot pasta filled with goat's cheese, mascarpone, walnuts and sultanas? There's always a good wine recommendation to go with it.
Frequent staff changes, hectic service: you won't find that here. Almost the same team has been cooking and serving for many years, open, courteous and very experienced.
The stylish and cosy living room ambience in Ristorante Mario and the spacious rooms invite you to celebrate all kinds of occasions, whether family celebrations or an evening with colleagues. Special feature: carefully laid tables can be found both outside and inside.
The restaurant is located on the green Südwestkorso and is easily accessible by public transport: Bus line 101 stop Südwestkorso/Taunusstraße or underground line 9, stop Friedrich-Wihlem-Platz.
Advance booking is recommended, especially at weekends, and children are welcome.
