A new dimension of flavour

Everyone in Germany knows Ralf Zacherl, and not just in Berlin: as a TV chef and author, he has won many hearts and delighted viewers and readers with his great creative recipes. Ralf's colleague Marcel Woest is not only also popular and well-known in the capital, but has already cooked up a Michelin star at Kreuzberg's Hartmanns.

Together with Anja and Carsten Schmidt from the Schmidt wine shop, Ralf Zacherl and Mario Kotaska run the Schmidt Z&KO in beautiful Friedenau, where good wines take centre stage just as much as good food. Schmidt Z&KO is not just a restaurant, but also a wine shop, a wine bar and even a show kitchen. Here they delight gourmets in the open kitchen with modern, innovative creations.

Markthalle Neun in Kreuzberg has long been legendary! The vast historic industrial hall is home to a colourful market that offers everything to do with freshness, regionality, ecology and biodiversity! In short: a golden piece of food culture that promises great culinary discoveries while shopping. Like the Kumpel & Keule butcher's shop, for example: really good meat, with transparent origins and proof of husbandry, processed honestly in a modern glass production room.If you love a crispy sausage for lunch or want hot smoked pork or grilled meat on your plate, you're in the land of milk and honey here: the barbecue is open until 4 pm.

Tante Fichte invites you to dinner

Stay right here in Kreuzberg! And take a trip to Croatia for dinner: chef Dominik has his roots on the Adriatic and knows how to combine Croatian products with the best regional ingredients from Brandenburg to create incredibly tasty dishes. But what makes the Tante Fichte restaurant so special is that it sees itself as a neighbourly place where the most important things are togetherness, laughter and celebration, and that can sometimes be hearty when Tante Fichte invites you to a ‘tipsy lunch’. By the way: Of course, plates can be shared!
