Advent weekends at FEZ-Berlin

Europe’s largest non-profit children’s, youth and family centre is once again inviting children to a creative and varied Christmas market on all four Advent weekends this year.

Christmas workshops and Christmas bakery

With a wide range of hands-on activities and Christmas delicacies you can get in the mood for Christmas at FEZ.
In the Christmas workshops, children can make gifts such as gingerbread houses and gnome figures, make candles or sew little teddy bears themselves and much more. Little bakers can bake their own Christmas biscuits at the Christmas bakery. The programme is supplemented by games and singing.

Christmas movies

Fezino, the FEZ's children's cinema, is also getting festive. From 4 December to 19 December, guests can look forward to a Christmas surprise film here on the Advent Fez weekends, at 2.30 pm and 4.20 pm each day.

Father christmas and theatre performances

In addition to Santa's visit, who takes time to listen to all the children's wishes, the Astrid Lindgren Stage performs various Christmas plays. You can bake bread with sticks on the Christmas fire and be artistically active yourself on a large shadow play wall.

Opening hours and entrance fees

• Dates:  2 and 3 December, 9 and 10 December, 16 and 17 December 2023
• Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday 12 pm - 6 pm
• Admission: Day ticket 5 euros per person,  family of 2 or more: 4 euros per person, including cinema

Transport

The Adventiamo Children’s Christmas Market is located at the Freizeit- und Erholungszentrum or FEZ (leisure and recreation centre) in Wuhlheide in the Treptow-Köpenick district. Due to a limited number of parking spaces, we recommend travelling by public transport.
