To mark the murder of Dietrich Bonhoeffer 80 years ago, the film "A Saint Who Conspires" is being shown in the Acud cinema. In the film by Hans-Joachim Curth and Horst Edler, former students and contemporary witnesses such as Eberhard Bethge and Albrecht Schönherr give authentic accounts of Bonhoeffer's work and passionate role in the resistance.

The footage was shot in the Bonhoeffer family's former home, among other places. The film contrasts with the increasing appropriation of the well-known Protestant theologian by evangelical circles and radical nationalists in the USA. 86 descendants have protested against the misuse of Bonhoeffer's legacy in an open letter.
