In the first song of Madsen's self-titled debut album, Sebastian Madsen sings the lines: "Maybe this is the beginning / Maybe this is the end." 20 years after the release, it can be said clearly: It was definitely a beginning.

Madsen - Tonight! 20 Years Album Debut Tour
The band has now released nine studio albums - the latest, "Hollywood", was released in summer 2023 and reached number #1 in the German album charts for the first time. Since their debut, the three Madsen brothers, together with bassist Niko Maurer and live musicians Lisa Who (keyboard, vocals) and Mücke (guitar), have hardly missed a stage. The band from Wendland has long been an integral part of the German rock scene.
To mark the twentieth anniversary, the Madsen debut album will be re-released on vinyl on November 1st, 2024 - in addition to the 11 original tracks from 2005, it contains the previously unreleased song "Heute Nacht", which was created during the recording sessions in 2004 but was forgotten on an old hard drive. Until now.
Due to the high demand - and because it's just great fun - the band is not only going on tour this year, but is also following up in the spring: The "Heute Nacht" tour will be different from any previous Madsen tour, but one thing is certain: It will be great, maybe even the best yet!
