Hope and Glory is a non-commercial Mad Max fan film that caused quite a stir in May.

275 people from 5 continents worked on the project and it exceeded all expectations: self-built cars, real explosions, car crashes, stunts, music recorded with an orchestra, the team went above and beyond.

Now Hope and Glory is coming to Hall 1 of the Zoo Palast.

Haunted by his past, Max Rockatansky crosses the Wasteland on his own. In search of fuel to keep his car moving, he meets Hope. In exchange for her freedom, she promises him gasoline. But before the tank of Max's Interceptor can be refilled, a dangerous mission must be completed. With no choice, he accepts the deal and travels deep into Buzzard territory. Under the sunken City, he not only has to fight a barbarian tribe, but also his inner demons.

As the film tells the prequel to the fourth Mad Max part, Fury Road, Hope and Glory is shown in a double feature with it. In between, there is a Q&A with the filmmakers.
