These are the stories of suffering and imprisonment of those affected, who innocently and often had to spend years in one of the Soviet special camps and in the Gulag. Quite a few perished. The book is based on interviews with contemporary witnesses that have not yet been published.
The book focuses on the victims themselves.
The experiences of those unjustly imprisoned are recounted in such a way that it becomes clear how seriously and persistently human dignity and human rights were violated. This volume is dedicated to the people who suffered persecution by the Soviet occupying power in their younger years.
