From 16 July to 27 August, a temporary exhibition of Lichtenberg artists will be on display in a vacant space. The Pop-up Gallery - made in Lichtenberg is a co-operation project of the district's economic development agency.

The exhibition presents a variety of art forms: from impressive paintings and dynamic performances to artistically designed pieces of furniture. More than 14 Lichtenberg artists are looking forward to the opportunity to introduce visitors to their artistic forms of expression on the ground floor of the Ring Centre.

The Pop-up Gallery - made in Lichtenberg is open to all visitors free of charge. After the first three weeks, the exhibition will change so that visitors can always discover new works. Art enthusiasts have the opportunity to purchase pieces from this inspiring art world and thus support local creatives.

With the pop-up gallery, the district's economic development agency is implementing another project to promote the sustainable development of Lichtenberg's shopping centres. The aim is to strengthen the centres and their function as central meeting places in the neighbourhood. At the same time, the pop-up gallery promotes the local art and creative industries and enables cultural participation for all visitors.

The opening ceremony with District Mayor Martin Schaefer and all those involved in the cooperation will take place on 16 July 2024 at 2:30 pm. The opening ceremony will be accompanied by an artistic performance.
