The Deutsches Theater owes a lot to the actor and director Alexander Lang since the end of the 1970s. His interpretations of classics in particular aimed directly at the heart of the present and became groundbreaking performances. Lang's innovative productions had a lasting impact on the theater landscape and set new standards for the presentation of classic material.
