on every museum Sunday

The new permanent exhibition tells of Jewish history and present in Germany. The five historical chapters and eight rooms on art and culture address the tension between belonging and exclusion from the Middle Ages to today. The exhibition focuses on the period of National Socialism and after 1945.

The tour offers you an initial overview of the exhibition, which tells the story from a Jewish perspective, using selected stations and objects.
In doing so, she takes up the many-voiced, sometimes contradictory positions.

Historical objects, media stations, video installations and works of art from the collection invite you to follow the eventful history and learn more about what it means to be Jewish today.
